Youtube Commments: Mike showed such tremendous courage and strength in the face of this destruction. How handled it could be a lesson in crisis management and while it’s horrifying, in its way, it’s a powerful testament to just how much some people are threatened by art, by words. As anyone who’s seen his shows knows, his are indeed mighty powerful and I’m glad he didn’t let them silence him, not for a minute.
What really irks me watching this is that the walk-out seems pre-planned. Admittedly I can’t imagine why Mike Daisey and his performance would be a target to some something as immature and silly or who would buy tickets to a show just to walk out.
Maybe it’s the media coverage of things like this, but it’s getting to seem common in the U.S. that being offended is enough for people to abandon any reason they have and lash out like children whether they’re from the right-wing or left-wing.

As an actor and artist myself, I cant really say I know what it would be like to have someone dump something destructive on my art in front of my face during a live performance…. but you handled it well. Offered them a dialogue and they refused. It seems like you will only come out stronger for it… and will make for a great story for the rest of your life.

I never heard of this guy – he seems pretty bright and certainly handled that well. I am certain however, that this action has brought more positive attention to him than anything else. I suppose that if your protest is guided by something valid it doesn’t backfire to the point of creating the opposite effect of it’s original intent. Wow… I could see this one coming a mile away. Last time I heard though, this game sold pretty highly. I guess some people bought it as a nasty present for their in-laws over the holidays in hopes that they would end up blowing their brains out after playing it (No offense towards in-laws intended). This game still boggles my fucking mind. How the hell do you release a game on the mainstream market without testing it? They did not test this game, not even once. They couldn’t have. But you know what was even worse. Crazy Super Action Bike. The bike in that game is completely uncontrollable. Plus it would blow up randomly.
In Big Riggs it’s impossible to lose, but in Crazy Super Action Bike (for the PC) you can’t even fucking have a chance at winning. But that wasn’t a mainstream game. That was a bogus piece of shit a classmate of mine made and suckered me into paying $8 for. Big Rigs Truckin’ has no excuse.

With the exception of MS Access, I don’t think any of the Office programs can sort items randomly. The users could be imported into a database and sorted, but since you have so many subscribers, it would make it…erm…what’s a good word…ODD to try to print them all up since by default, databases output in a list (one per line)…but with a little work, I suppose it can be tweaked to print up like you have them printed now…

I don’t know about that. It doesn’t look to me as though you can view Val’s subscriber list. If there were a “subscribers” link next to the “friends” link at the top of her profile, I’d agree with you, though. It’d be a matter of going through and parsing the pages of subscribers to extract the names. Which would be a lot easier than copy-paste-rinse-repeat.

Have you got the shuffling sorted out yet?? The only way I can think of is to put the names into Excel (or Calc for us OpenOffice users), then in the next column put random numbers =rand() … then sort the data according to the random numbers, then export back to a text file… sound easy enough??? If you want, you can send me the file and I will shuffle for you (might just add a few hundred more greenvals in there..hehe…)

Its by Korean system of counting ages. In there when you are born you start off as a 1 y. old and not 0 years old. When you get 1 y. old by western system you are 2 y. old in their system. So by westernd standars Yunho ect are 21 but in their country standarts they are 22. Hope this hekped.

Ever see Mad TV? Debra Wilson is black and has played a character named Ms. Bunifa Latifah Halifa Sharifa Jackson that is very similar to how Scarlett acts in this parody. Obviously it is the way SOME black people act, or other blacks like Keenan and Debra wouldn’t be poking fun at it.
